Research Organisations – Search Agents

Click here for a PDF version (47k)

This PROVguide contains a list of contact details of professional individuals and organisations that can be privately engaged by members of the public to undertake research at Public Record Office Victoria on their behalf.  While Public Record Office Victoria provides a range of services and resources to assist people with their research, we do not provide a research service.

Listed below are the contact details of organisations and individuals who undertake research on a fee for service basis.  This list does not however indicate any form of accreditation or recognition by Public Record Office Victoria.  All conditions and fees for service must be negotiated directly with the search agent chosen.  All such dealings are outside the influence and responsibility of Public Record Office Victoria, its constituent sections or its individual officers.
