  • How to use the Records
    Consult the consignment details for the unit containing the date range for which information is required.

  • Function / Content
    This series consists of the Presentments to the criminal jurisdiction of the Supreme Court from the Crown prosecutor. The Presentment sets out the name of the accused and full details of the charges with which the person was to be tried. A list of Crown witnesses is also given. On the presentment the case is summarised with the name and location of the Court, when the trial was begun and before whom, the plea, the verdict and the judgment. Further details of cases may be found in VPRS 3524 Criminal Trial Brief Registers II and VPRS 30 Criminal Trial Briefs.
