    Consult the Consignment Details for the heading relating to the subject of interest and the relevant time period.

  • Function / Content
    This series contains general correspondence received by the Education Department and filed under specific headings. This correspondence dealt with general matters unrelated to specific schools such as Correspondence School management, Libraries (particularly that maintained within the Department itself), specific service areas such as Psychology and Guidance and Physical Education and matters pertaining to the Teachers Association and the Teachers Tribunal.

    Correspondence may have a face sheet giving dates of writing and of registration, a summary of the subject matter and annotations of action officers including indications of the response to be made where appropriate. Other correspondence consists of standard pro forma and returns.
