  • How to use the Records
    This series does not require pre-ordering. Microfiche are available in the Melbourne Reading Room.

    Researchers should consult VPRS 8164 Register of Historic Plan Collection (1802-1963) (Computer Output Microfiche) to identify plans of interest, the data set in which they are included and the plan number.

    Researchers should also note that a separate set of microfiche copies of pastoral run plans are available in VPRS 5920 Pastoral Run Files [Microfiche Copy of VPRS 5359].

  • Function / Content
    This series consists of copies made of VPRS 8168 Historic Plan Collection. The P1 consignment consists of microfiche copies of the majority of the data sets listed in VPRS 8164 Register of Historic Plan Collection (1802-1963) (Computer Output Microfiche). These were transferred to PROV from the Lands Information Centre in August 2006. Data sets not included in the P1 consignment are County, Old Roads, New Roads and Electric Telegraph.

    Copies are in plan number order, organised in the data sets as listed on the frame 'Plan Abbreviations and Types' in VPRS 8164 Register of Historic Plan Collection (1802-1963) (Computer Output Microfiche).
