  • How to use the Records
    Scan the book for names of interest.

  • Function / Content
    This record comprises a book of forms. It is a "Melbourne General Cemetery - Form of Instructions For Graves - (Schedule C)". It has the word "Police" written on its front cover. Forms are completed and the form butt remains. Information recorded on the butt is the name of the person buried and the date. All of the names are female. Some are the stillborn children of the persons named. The date range of the records pre-dates Fairlie (Female) Prison. Fairlie would have inherited them from the Female Division, Pentridge Prison.
