    Contents : A - Z

This series comprises a self-indexed register of employees' vacation particulars. Included is the following information:

    - name of employee
    - date of recruitment, position held and depot assigned to
    - when annual leave due and dates(s) on which taken
    - occasional remarks on employee's history (eg. resigned, dismissed, died)

The P1 consignment of this series consists of a single volume. It is thought that previous volumes of this series were created but were not extant at the time of transfer to the PRO. It is probable that this volume was the last in the series because the employees of this agency were transferred to the Tramway Board in approximately 1915 to 1916.

Also included is a number of holiday sheets listed under depot location with details of pay for leave and sick and ordinary leave. There is also a large sheet which appears to be a revenue sheet filled out daily by the revenue clerk. It was the function of the revenue clerk to add up the tickets collected by the conductor and to record them in a daily cash receipts journal. This sheet would have formed part of such a journal. On the reverse of the sheet is a check list of conductors for each route.
